Humble beginnings
Founded by Jeremy Swadling in the 1970s, Swadling Brassware began in a small workshop in Hampshire, England.
Jeremy wanted to produce something really special. So, armed with his experience of making wooden canopy bathtubs and accessories, he set out to create brassware with the same feeling of quality and style.
Practicality matters
As well as looking beautiful, our brassware is efficient too. We know how to make sure your water flows well, even at low pressure. Our thermostatic shower mixers also keep the temperature constant, so there’s no worry of your morning shower suddenly turning freezing cold.

We don’t just manufacture your shower. We design, assemble, hand-polish and test every single piece. And to make sure your experience is always the best it can be, we only work with expert showroom partners.

continual policy of improvement.
All products are designed to be compliant where relevant pending certification with the following codes:
NSF/ANSI 61: Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects; or
ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1: Plumbing Supply Fittings;
CEC: California Energy Commission;
UPC: Uniform Plumbing Code;
IPC: International Plumbing Code.
We’re also looking after the planet. In 2021, we invested in a new, environmentally-friendly plating facility, and we’re in the middle of setting out our net-zero strategy for the future.

Our passion for creating perfect pieces remains to this day. We still make all our brassware in Hampshire, and many of our team have been here since the beginning. So, you can rest assured that each piece of your shower has been made with decades of care and craftsmanship.
